State Governing Board Election Information

Hello Everyone,

Please see attached information regarding the election of our Governing Board.  I am sending this out a little early due to how busy we are all going to be in early June.  If you are interested in running for a board please email me and fill out your application and send it back to me no later than June 9th.  I have to have all information to Cookie by June 15 but that is the weekend that I will be in St. Louis taking the tests.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.  Thank you for your interest and your willingness to be on the board!

Message from Connie – USA Brevet/National Judges Course Update

To: All judges who are registered to take the USA Brevet or National Judges’ Course
 
We have identified several errors on the Start Value Calculation Answer sheets, have revised them and are uploading them to the J501 Judges’ Course Online Study Materials. If you have already downloaded and printed off the SV Answer sheets, you will want to re-print.
The following SV routines have been revised:
Bars: # 4 & 9
Beam: #9
Floor: #2, 6,7,8, & 9
 
For the Practice Judging component, the following Bar scripts have been adjusted: #2, 3, 4 & 5.
 
These revisions will be uploaded to the J501 Judging Course by the end of the day, April 30, 2018.
 
Clarification regarding the Additional +0.10 Bonus for Level 10 UB/BB/FX:
            
As with the additional Bonus for certain 10.0 Vaults, in order to be eligible for the Additional +0.10 Bonus on the other three events, they must first have a 10.0 SV. If they also have +0.60 or more in a combination of CV and D/E Bonus and have at least one E (Acro for BB/FX), then they can receive the additional +0.10 Bonus, which is NOT reflected in the SV, but is flashed by each judge.
